AREC is a self - funded, not for profit organisation that has it roots in the organisation and running of the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days. Since 1977, the field days has been developed to provide information for people living on the land. With over 400 exhibitors and a wide range of activities and demonstations the field days is great day out to learn, discover and enjoy.
Venue for small to very large events.
AREC has meeting rooms suitable for small meetings to larger Pavilions suitable for 200,300 & 1800 participants.
Our main exhibition area is approved for camping and caravan style accommodation and has been the venue for many large Rallies, Caravan Club Events and Equestrian Events.
We have specialized demonstration areas for activities such as Straw Bale Building, and displays of Rammed Earth buildings on our site. The AREC site has a full vineyard and orchard useful for industry demonstrations. Talk to us about your needs, we are sure to have a solution to your event needs.
AREC is the proud host of the Mudgee Mens Shed (www.mudgeemensshed.org.au). This initiative project sees a tremendous resource for the Mudgee and surrounding community. The Mudgee Men’s Shed is a place where local men can meet, work and share life experience and most importantly, talk.
